Introduction
Shiny Pokemon are Pokemon with an odd or different coloration than what is normally seen, such as the normal blue Gyarados' aqua blue is a crimson red when it is shiny. While this might not seem very important to a Pokemon Trainer, they're known for their extreme rarity and can be exchanged for Pokemon of extreme power on the GTS (Global Trade Station)
These were first introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver and have been one of the biggest factors in determining a game's greatness.
Throughout the years, many tricks have been uncovered on how to increase your chances at getting a shiny Pokemon. Some of these have been proven fakes, but others have become widely accepted methods used by trainers worldwide.
This blog's purpose will be to instruct trainers on how to get their very own shiny Pokemon, as well as how to tell for sure if you have a shiny.
